Putter On By was born out of criticisms I've heard about myself thoughout my life.

On a particularly bad day, I sat at the piano, frustrated with myself because I was burnt out again. My ADHD was making it hard for me to focus. My ASD was making everything sound and feel overwhelming. I was exhausted, depressed, anxious, and grieving. Life felt like too much! Even though, in my heart of hearts, I wanted to be doing all of the things, I just couldn't do any of them.

Putter On By is a song is about accepting what is and who we are. We all have limits. No one can do everything or be everything. Sometimes, we need to do nothing, but rest, feel our feelings, and heal. On those days, it's okay to just putter on by. ♡
